Michael Lucas is notorious for his 'auditions'! The worn out belief that to make porn you have to sleep with those of us who cast guys is not entirely true -- at least not for this casting director. But Michael is rather infamous in how he recruits. Of course he makes a video tape and includes them in his audition series -- like this one with a young man named Valentin. But there is actually another off-camera audition models have told me about. It is the REAL audition and it happens before this staged audition. You really are expected to put out for Michael off the clock and if he can't get it up for you, you'll never work for him. An interesting way to run a business, but you know what? His movies are generally some of the best made so he must be doing something right. Maybe I need to re-consider how I cast men for my porn?!
